Dark chocolate, dried cranberries, peanut butter combined take these granola bars to the next flavor level.

1 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup agave
2/3 cups dried cranberries
3 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons dark chocolate cocoa powder
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup crispy rice cereal
¾ cup peanuts, chopped
Grease a 13x9 inch pan and set aside.
In a saucepan over medium-low heat combine oil, agave, and peanut butter. Once the mixture has melted add the cocoa powder and mix well. Do not bring to a simmer. Remove from the heat and add vanilla.
In a large bowl combine the cranberries, old-fashioned oats, crispy rice cereal, and chopped nuts.
Add the melted peanut butter mixture to the oats mixture and blend well.
Pour the mixture evenly into the greased pan and press the mixture down using a spatula. Really press it down as this will cause your granola bars to stick together.
Freeze for 15 minutes before cutting.
Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
